Sheldon’s career in real estate started when he was 15 and worked part time at his family’s real estate company. His plan to go to law school was side-tracked when his dad bet him he couldn’t pass the real estate exam. That was in 1988.

In 1991 he became a broker and took over managing the brokerage which was one of the largest, most successful independent brokerages in the Edmonton market. Since then he joined a franchise, left that franchise and most recently re-branded as Liv Real Estate.

During his years in the business he has been involved in the industry as a board director, RECA Council Member, REIX Advisory board and various other committees and panels. He has been a top producing agent and now focuses on training and mentoring 25 very productive agents, and managing the brokerage.

The boutique brokerage has a dominant online presence in Edmonton; their web site (www.edmontonrealestate.pro) gets over 330,000 user sessions and 4 million pageviews a month. In 2015, the brokerage generated over $200 million in sales, 65% of which came from leads from their web site.
